Fraudulent Advertising?

We aren’t lawyers but we can read laws. It is the contention of this site that much of the key components of Yieldstreet’s marketing make fraudulent claims. We will give specific specific examples and let you decide. On their hone page Yieldstreet says this:

With my portfolio of 26 open Yieldstreet investments, 14 were promoted to return quarterly dividends or payments. Of these 10 have returned $0 in over 2 years.

The 4 investments which have returned dividends have paid less than 1/2 the projected returns.

  • Atlanta Multi-Family Equity: 1/2021 – 4/2024: $0 Dividends (“~6% of annualized income from property rents, which is expected to be paid quarterly”)
  • Growth and Income REIT 02/22-4/24: $0 Dividends (“The second source of returns is quarterly income payments from rents and any interest collected.)
  • Harbor Group Multi-Family Eq Portfolio II 12/21-4/24 – $0 Dividends (~5% of annualized income from property rents, which is expected to be paid quarterly)
  • Houston Multi-Family Equity I : 8/21-4/24 – $0 Dividend (“~7% of annualized income from property rents, which is expected to be paid quarterly”)
